1. Expectation error
Terjadi karena panelis telah menerima informasi tentang pengujian. Oleh karena itu sebaiknya panel tidak diberikan informasi yang mendetail tentang pengujian dan sampel diberi kode 3 (tiga) digit agar tidak dikenali panelis.
It happens because the tester have the information about testing. Therefore, the tester should not be given the detail information of testing and sample is given 3 digits number so the tester could not recognized it.
2. Convergen error
Panelis cenderung memberikan penilaian yang lebih baik atau lebih buruk apabila didahului pemberian sampel yang lebih baik atau lebih buruk.
Tester is tend to give the assessment which better or worst if is preceded with giving a sample which better or worst.
3. Stimulus error
Terjadi karena penampakan sampel yang tidak seragam sehingga panel ragu-ragu dalam memberikan penilaian
It happens because the sample vision which not uniform so the tester hesitating to give the assessment
4. Logical error
Mirip dengan stimulus error,dimana panelis memberikan penilaiannya berdasarkan karakteristik tertentu menurut logikanya. Karakterristik tersebut akan berhubungan dengan karakteristik lainnya.
Similar with stimulus error, where the tester gives their assessment based on particular characteristic according to logic. This characteristic may connected with other characteristic.
5. Halo effect
Terjadi karena evaluasi sampel dilakukan terhadap lebih dari 1 (satu) faktor sehinga panelis memberikan kesan yang umum dari suatu produk.
It happens because sample evaluate is conducted to more than one factor, so the tester give the generally impression of the product.
6. Motivasi
Respon dari seorang panelis akan mempengaruhi persepsi sensorinya. Oleh karena itu penggunaan panelis yang terbaik (termotivasi) dengan pengujian akan memberikan hasil yang lebih efisien.
The response from a tester may influence their sensory perception. Therefore, usage of best tester with the testing may give efficient result.
7. Sugenti
Respon dari seorang panelis akan mempengaruhi panelis lainnya. Oleh karena itu pengujian dilakukan secara individual dan dilaksanakan di ruang isolasi (boot).
